OC Surf Fest

Head to Head Competition with a Focus on Fun!

As we recover from a very difficult 2020, the Ocean City Surf Club is looking forward to a better and brighter year ahead.  While we realize the need to practice social distancing and adhere to our government mandates, after careful deliberation, our Board of Directors decided to move forward with hosting and supporting outdoor events at this time.

We are excited to announce we will be a proud sponsor of the ESA 2021 Northeast Regional Surfing Championship coming up on May 14th, 15th and 16th 2021 right here in Ocean City, MD on 36th street and the beach.  The ESA is the largest amateur surfing organization in the world and has partnered with the World Surfing League (WSL) to bring this event to Ocean City.  We invite everyone to come out and enjoy some of the best surfing on the East Coast and come visit us at our OCSC tent!

On Saturday June 12th with the help of local sponsors, we will be hosting our annual OC Surf Fest in front of the Castle in the Sand hotel on 37th street.  In addition to our popular “Anything Goes” 5 Person Team Challenge Surf Contest, this year we will be adding an Open Ocean SUP Paddle Board Race and a Women & Girls Expression Surf Session.  And for the children we will have a “In the Ocean Tug of War” – one at low tide and one at high tide which is always a big hit with all the kids.  Again this year we will have the OC Beach Patrol performing Life Saving Rescue Demonstrations that always seems to captivate spectators.  It is sure to be our biggest and best OC Surf Fest yet.

The OC Surf Club continues to stand strong and stand united as all of us together make our community a better place.  See you on the beach!

Stay safe & Stay well!   The OCSC Board of Directors
