April is a huge month for the OC Surf Club’s Environmental Clean ups!

Effie Cox – the OC Surf Club’s Environmental Chairperson has a busy April with trash and beach clean ups the entire month.  March 30th there is a Church group of 800 volunteers that will  meet at 100th street in Ocean City at 12:30pm to clean the town of OC and West OC. Along with Maryland Coastal Bays Program the OC Surf Club will organize and manage this tremendous effort provided by these thoughtful volunteers.  April 6th is EARTH CLEAN UP Day and we welcome everyone to come join us at City Hall on 3rd street at 9am to have some fun and make a meaningful difference with this Spring clean up.  April 13th is TRASH FREE ASSATEAGUE with UMES and the Adopt Your Beach program — more details to follow — April 14th is PEACE DAY 1 CLEAN UP which is another church group helping our community with cleaning up our environment.  The Ocean City Surf Club continues to make our land green and our ocean blue with all our efforts to clean and protect our ocean community.  Come join us!
