Effie Cox – the OC Surf Club’s Environmental Chairperson has a busy April with trash and beach clean ups the entire month.  March 30th there is a Church group of 800 volunteers that will  meet at 100th street in Ocean City at 12:30pm to clean the town of OC and West OC. OC Surf Club wins another trophy in OC St. Patty’s Parade !

The Ocean City Surf Club would like to Thank everyone who walked with us in the 2019 OC St Patrick’s Day Parade!  We had our largest turnout this year and we won another award!! The OC Surf Club won the the Special Committee Award – up against over 100 awesome floats!  Our Youth Patrol program was our theme this year and we had a record number of children join us to help promote this incredible youth volunteer program. Come walk with the OC Surf Club in the OC St Patrick’s Day Parade !

The Ocean City Surf Club wants you to march with us in the 2019 OC St Patrick’s Day Parade!  Everyone is welcome!  Even pets!  On Saturday March 16th meet at 60th street Bayside no later than 11:30am — look for the Ocean City Surf Club trailer.  Parade starts promptly at 12 noon and last just over an hour.  We will have a Surfer-Hawaiian themed “Youth Patrol” program Float ( our Youth Volunteer Program ) with flags and banners and tons of candy!! OCSC Kalikimaka Party – Dec 5th !

Come join the OC Surf Club for our annual Kalikimaka Party on Dec 5th – 6pm -10pm at the Bull on the Beach  94th Street in Ocean City!  We will provide Complimentary Food, Happy Hour Drink Prices, Apparel Sales, 50/50 Raffle, and will feature the Surf Into Integrity Students & Youth Patrol. Surf Into Integrity 2018 off to a great start!

The Ocean City Surf Club’s “Surf Into Integrity” program at the Stephen Decatur Middle School began on September 19th and currently has 13 students participating in the 2018 class.  The class meets on Wednesdays to discuss chapters from the course text book “The Surfers Code” written by World Champion surfer Shaun Tomson.  Then on Sundays at 9am we circle up on the beach at 36th street in OC to review those chapters and talk about how they relate to lessons we learn if life.  Then we warm up and practice “pop ups” on the beach before we hit the waves… Continue Reading

I thought I would send this subject line again, since it is still as true today as it was 3 years ago when I first sent it. I know how busy each and everyone of you are.
